Minecraft: How to Construct a Castle – Part 3: Basic Entrance and Walls (Builder’s Book)

Minecraft: How to Construct a Castle - Part 3: Basic Entrance and Walls (Builder's Book)Please take a moment to RATE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE! Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we finish off the walls of the castle using the knowledge we gained in the last video. We then construct a basic entrance. Kinda small, I know, but the next few eps will make up for it! :D This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft.

Minecraft Essentials: Combat Tips – Critical Strike

Minecraft Essentials: Combat Tips - Critical StrikePlease take a moment to RATE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE! Thank you! Welcome to Minecraft Essentials, a series of tips and tricks helpful to veterans and newbies delivered in bite-size videos. This series is split to cover two detailed topics, helpful Minecraft Tricks and deadly Combat Tips. Your ability in combat can be vastly improved with a little bit of knowledge here and there. Knowledge of ‘Critical Strikes’ can greatly improve your ferocity in combat. A critical strike deals over double damage for most tools and weapons, and is performed by attacking whilst falling. In melee, a critical hit occurs when a player attacks a mob while falling. The attack deals 50% more (rounded down) plus one heart of damage. This can be done by jumping. It can also be combined with sprinting to knock back the mob, although there is no extra knockback for a critical hit. In an Abandoned Mine Shaft, a player may choose to jump into a cobweb. At the cost of mobility, the player will be granted a major damage increase, as cobwebs greatly extend the time the player falls. This same tactic can also be used when descending in water.

Minecraft Essentials – Combat Technique: Sprint Strike

Minecraft Essentials - Combat Technique: Sprint StrikeWelcome to Minecraft Essentials, a series of tips and tricks helpful to veterans and newbies delivered in bite-size videos. Your ability in combat can be vastly improved with a little bit of knowledge here and there. Knowledge of this ‘Sprint Strike’ and how it can be used effectively can greatly boost your effectiveness in any combat situation, especially if you’re unarmed. Sprinting is a feature in Beta 1.8, which allows the player to run faster, around 5.6 meters/second. This is about 30% faster than the normal walking speed of around 4.3 m/s. The player sprints by double tapping the “Forward” key (W by default) and then holding it. It is possible to jump across four blocks horizontally (although difficult), instead of the usual two blocks by sprinting, however the jump height is no higher than normal. If the player hits a mob while sprinting, the Mob is knocked back much further away, similar to the effect of a “Knockback I” enchantment on a sword.

Minecraft: Cow Overderp

Minecraft: Cow OverderpDon’t ask… You asked. I was trying to get some cows into a fenced area so I could farm them for steaks and milk buckets. What happened was that I got two in, breeded them, then went to get another and found it wasn’t smart enough to actually come inside and just stood outside staring at me. I turned a little bit and saw a calf staring at me as well. I then turned around and saw the biggest pair of cow overderps I have ever seen in my entire (Minecraft) life. Note: I’ve done that annotation link thing to other videos on this one. I won’t be adding this to new mob guides, but will add it to Builder’s Book as soon as the Castle project is finished, then it will appear everytime a project finishes. Minecraft essentials will also have it. I plan on maybe doing another Mob Guide season in case I become popular. I could make some original themes, make it look more professional and appealing, and maybe even monetize it. But looking at where I am now, I have a LONG way to go.

Minecraft Mob Guide – Herobrine

Minecraft Mob Guide - HerobrineYou guys checked my skin out? Well you loved to point it out in the comments, didn’t you? Here I am. The Herobrine is the old legend of Minecraft. A pupil-less Steve who was a representation of Notch’s dead brother. Fortunately, Notch has no dead brother. Unforunately, I am very real. The Herobrine story was a complete hoax. It involved another player in a singleplayer world being visible in the fog. Also in the hoax were 1×2 shafts lit with redstone torches and pyramid buildings which were apparently built by this Herobrine. There’s more on the story somewhere else in the internet. Go google it! :) Please take a look at Kyron, the person who helped me get these clips, and lent me his server. His youtube channel is small, but I’m sure a boost in subs will help him grow and bloom into a much greater channel. I (he) assure you it won’t dissapoint you. 0Kyron0’s Channel — www.youtube.com Yes I did say he lent out the server to me, but what’s to stop you from coming over? ———————————————————– Come join us over at 82.46.151.71:25565. ———————————————————– 0Kyron0’s server is nice, new, and you can walk around that nice fortress I made. (It’s only showing the front for a reason, by the way) The music used is not mine and I claim to own it. They are: First soundtrack: “28 The Icetruck Killer” – Dexter (Showtime) “hal3″ – c418 “26 Fight or Flight” – Dexter (Showtime)

Minecraft – How to Construct a Castle – part 2: Castle Wall and Corridor (Builder’s Book)

Minecraft - How to Construct a Castle - part 2: Castle Wall and Corridor (Builder's Book)Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we look at the second step to building our castle: a castle wall. This is a simple stone structure which will branch off of the Spiral Staircase Tower we built last time, and makes some nice battlements and a corridor. They form the main, most noticeable part of our castle. Outside of being used for a castle, you can use walls in your own creations. Perhaps a massive-scale version can be some kind of Great Wall of China remade in Minecraft. Or you can build a large wall to form a fortress of sorts. It is all up to your imagination. This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Wolf

Minecraft Mob Guide - The WolfThe Wolf is a savage beast, roaring with utter ferocity, but underneath all of that is an adorable hound who just wants to be Man’s Best Friend. We shall take a detailed look at them. This is the ninth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the friendly canine wolves of Minecraft. Well, you’ve got to make them your friend first, until then they’re fierce packs of wolves that prey on sheep. Once they are your friend, though, they are Man’s Best Friend. Wolves are a type of mob that can be allied with the player once tamed (fed bones). They are agile creatures, as they jump and run on land and swim in lakes and oceans. They will shake themselves dry when they reach the shore after a swim or if drenched by rain, or otherwise come in contact with water. Wolves are 1 block in height, 2 in length, and 1 in width (1 x 2 x 1). Like almost all mobs, Wolves are vulnerable to drowning, suffocation, falling, contact with cacti or lava, and will actively take damage from being set on fire or coming in contact with attacking hostile mobs. Wolves will spawn in all difficulty levels (including peaceful), and only in Forest, Pine Forest, and Taiga biomes. NOTE: Any strange sexual messages in the tags are purely accidental.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Villager [HD]

Minecraft Mob Guide - The Villager [HD]The Villager is a friendly resident in one of the many houses of his village. This video goes into detail about these guys. This is the eigth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the friendly neighborhood Villager. These guys live in peace and quiet, for as long as your blade protects them from the horrors of the night. A Villager, also known by many players as a Testificate, is a passive NPC (Non-Player Character) that spawns and moves about in NPC Villages. Their characteristic look is dominated by their large, bald heads, green eyes, uni-brows, and long, protruding noses. They spawn around the villages and inside the buildings. They spawn at their respective buildings corresponding to the role they have. Villagers will randomly look at the player, and wander the area of the village. They do not attack if attacked, but they will be knocked back. When attacked, they will not run away. If the player does happen to kill one, they drop nothing, and others will do nothing about it, though nearby Iron Golems will attack the player. Villagers have the ability to utilize doors and therefore able to go in and out of houses. Villagers will hide in houses during the night, rain, or when chased by Zombies. Villagers seem to favor lighted conditions over unlighted ones, seemingly due to the lower chance of zombie spawning. It is not known whether they favor lighted …

Minecraft Builder’s Book – Castle Construction part 1 (Spiral Staircase Tower)

Minecraft Builder's Book - Castle Construction part 1 (Spiral Staircase Tower)Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we look at the first step to building a simple castle: a Spiral Staircase Tower. This is simply a stone tower with a stairway leading to the top, but four of these joined by castle walls can make the base of your Castle, where you can then fit whatever you want inside (an NPC village, perhaps?) This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft.
