Minecraft – How to Construct a Castle – part 5: Castle Interior and Tower (Builder’s Book)

Minecraft - How to Construct a Castle - part 5: Castle Interior and Tower (Builder's Book)READ: — There are actually a number of Render errors here, please excuse them. You will have to look at them in following clips in order to understand exactly what to do, but I do attempt to explain them in the best way I could, through the video’s text as well as annotations (turn them on! :D) Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we finish our Castle off by building within it’s interior and building a massive Tower. Just remember that after completing this part, you are free to add whatever you want to it! Store rooms, furnace rooms, dispenser turrets, whatever! This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft. Minecraft: Cow Overderp

Minecraft: Cow OverderpDon’t ask… You asked. I was trying to get some cows into a fenced area so I could farm them for steaks and milk buckets. What happened was that I got two in, breeded them, then went to get another and found it wasn’t smart enough to actually come inside and just stood outside staring at me. I turned a little bit and saw a calf staring at me as well. I then turned around and saw the biggest pair of cow overderps I have ever seen in my entire (Minecraft) life. Note: I’ve done that annotation link thing to other videos on this one. I won’t be adding this to new mob guides, but will add it to Builder’s Book as soon as the Castle project is finished, then it will appear everytime a project finishes. Minecraft essentials will also have it. I plan on maybe doing another Mob Guide season in case I become popular. I could make some original themes, make it look more professional and appealing, and maybe even monetize it. But looking at where I am now, I have a LONG way to go.

Minecraft Mob Guide – Herobrine

Minecraft Mob Guide - HerobrineYou guys checked my skin out? Well you loved to point it out in the comments, didn’t you? Here I am. The Herobrine is the old legend of Minecraft. A pupil-less Steve who was a representation of Notch’s dead brother. Fortunately, Notch has no dead brother. Unforunately, I am very real. The Herobrine story was a complete hoax. It involved another player in a singleplayer world being visible in the fog. Also in the hoax were 1×2 shafts lit with redstone torches and pyramid buildings which were apparently built by this Herobrine. There’s more on the story somewhere else in the internet. Go google it! :) Please take a look at Kyron, the person who helped me get these clips, and lent me his server. His youtube channel is small, but I’m sure a boost in subs will help him grow and bloom into a much greater channel. I (he) assure you it won’t dissapoint you. 0Kyron0’s Channel — www.youtube.com Yes I did say he lent out the server to me, but what’s to stop you from coming over? ———————————————————– Come join us over at 82.46.151.71:25565. ———————————————————– 0Kyron0’s server is nice, new, and you can walk around that nice fortress I made. (It’s only showing the front for a reason, by the way) The music used is not mine and I claim to own it. They are: First soundtrack: “28 The Icetruck Killer” – Dexter (Showtime) “hal3″ – c418 “26 Fight or Flight” – Dexter (Showtime)

Minecraft – How to Construct a Castle – part 2: Castle Wall and Corridor (Builder’s Book)

Minecraft - How to Construct a Castle - part 2: Castle Wall and Corridor (Builder's Book)Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we look at the second step to building our castle: a castle wall. This is a simple stone structure which will branch off of the Spiral Staircase Tower we built last time, and makes some nice battlements and a corridor. They form the main, most noticeable part of our castle. Outside of being used for a castle, you can use walls in your own creations. Perhaps a massive-scale version can be some kind of Great Wall of China remade in Minecraft. Or you can build a large wall to form a fortress of sorts. It is all up to your imagination.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Wolf

Minecraft Mob Guide - The WolfThe Wolf is a savage beast, roaring with utter ferocity, but underneath all of that is an adorable hound who just wants to be Man’s Best Friend. We shall take a detailed look at them. This is the ninth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the friendly canine wolves of Minecraft. Well, you’ve got to make them your friend first, until then they’re fierce packs of wolves that prey on sheep. Once they are your friend, though, they are Man’s Best Friend. Wolves are a type of mob that can be allied with the player once tamed (fed bones). They are agile creatures, as they jump and run on land and swim in lakes and oceans. They will shake themselves dry when they reach the shore after a swim or if drenched by rain, or otherwise come in contact with water. Wolves are 1 block in height, 2 in length, and 1 in width (1 x 2 x 1). Like almost all mobs, Wolves are vulnerable to drowning, suffocation, falling, contact with cacti or lava, and will actively take damage from being set on fire or coming in contact with attacking hostile mobs. Wolves will spawn in all difficulty levels (including peaceful), and only in Forest, Pine Forest, and Taiga biomes. NOTE: Any strange sexual messages in the tags are purely accidental.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Villager [HD]

Minecraft Mob Guide - The Villager [HD]The Villager is a friendly resident in one of the many houses of his village. This video goes into detail about these guys. This is the eigth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the friendly neighborhood Villager. These guys live in peace and quiet, for as long as your blade protects them from the horrors of the night. A Villager, also known by many players as a Testificate, is a passive NPC (Non-Player Character) that spawns and moves about in NPC Villages. Their characteristic look is dominated by their large, bald heads, green eyes, uni-brows, and long, protruding noses. They spawn around the villages and inside the buildings. They spawn at their respective buildings corresponding to the role they have. Villagers will randomly look at the player, and wander the area of the village. They do not attack if attacked, but they will be knocked back. When attacked, they will not run away. If the player does happen to kill one, they drop nothing, and others will do nothing about it, though nearby Iron Golems will attack the player. Villagers have the ability to utilize doors and therefore able to go in and out of houses. Villagers will hide in houses during the night, rain, or when chased by Zombies. Villagers seem to favor lighted conditions over unlighted ones, seemingly due to the lower chance of zombie spawning. It is not known whether they favor lighted …

Minecraft Builder’s Book – Castle Construction part 1 (Spiral Staircase Tower)

Minecraft Builder's Book - Castle Construction part 1 (Spiral Staircase Tower)Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we look at the first step to building a simple castle: a Spiral Staircase Tower. This is simply a stone tower with a stairway leading to the top, but four of these joined by castle walls can make the base of your Castle, where you can then fit whatever you want inside (an NPC village, perhaps?) This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Spider

Minecraft Mob Guide - The SpiderThe Spider is a fierce, venomous monster of the darkness. This guide goes into detail about them. This is the seventh episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the Spider, a poisonous arachnid of darkness. It will climb over your petty walls and fences and bite you with intense ferocity. The spider is an arachnid-like monster and also is a mob that is neutral in sufficient light levels and hostile towards the player at night and in dark, shadowy areas. They are able to see the player through solid blocks. A spider measures 2 x 2 x 1 blocks, with brownish-gray skin and red eyes that glow eerily in the dark. Because of their dimensions, spiders cannot enter 1-block wide spaces that zombies, skeletons, and creepers can, but it can crawl into 1-block high gaps (as long as they are 2 or more blocks wide). Spiders’ distinctive hissing noises can alert a player to their presence – creepers make a similar, much shorter noise when damaged. Spiders are easier to hit with arrows due to their size, but can quickly catch up to the player with their leaping (they can cover 2 – 3 blocks in a bound) and wall-climbing abilities. Spiders will often jump around when attacking, making them a moving target and harder to hit. When hunting, spiders move at a pace slightly slower than the player’s walking speed. Unlike zombies and skeletons, spiders will not catch fire in daylight.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Zombie

Minecraft Mob Guide - The ZombieThe Minecraft Zombie comes from the depths of the darkness. Since version 1.2, these are the leaders of the horde, breaking open doorways, allowing the other demons of darkness to charge in for the kill. These flesh-eating fiends are the most common monster in Minecraft, so be prepared for a lot of battles with these guys. This is the forth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the Zombie, a defiled human, distorted to the very edge of a human’s definition. The fiends walk around through the darkness, awaiting your fascinating flesh. A zombie is a hostile mob that closely resembles the player. A zombie measures 2 blocks tall, 1 block wide, and 0.25 blocks thick. Zombies spawn in dimly lit areas and attack players by shambling towards them and touching them. Like skeletons, zombies catch fire in sunlight. Villagers currently are constantly being attacked by zombies and having sieges with them; the Iron Golem was added to protect them.

NEW Minecraft Snapshot 12w08a: Iron Golem – Overview

NEW Minecraft Snapshot 12w08a: Iron Golem - OverviewThe Iron Golem comes crashing onto the new snapshot 12w08a. It defends villages with it’s mighty brutality and their hardened Iron shells make them amongst the toughest mobs in the game. The snapshot also brings improved world and lighting, as well as the ability to place stairs upside-down. Iron Golems roam villages slowly and are passive to the player. When provoked, Iron Golems will move toward their target at a faster rate, swinging their arms up violently once in range to attack. This does 3½ to 10 hearts damage to their target. They will attack Endermen, Zombie Pigmen, Blazes, Silverfish, Skeletons, Spiders, Cave Spiders, and Zombies if any come within their sight. They will attack the player if the player attacks it first, or if the player attacks a Villager (Only in Survival Mode). The Iron Golem does not have to directly see the player attacking a Villager to become hostile toward the player. They do not despawn if the difficulty is switched to peaceful and will continue to attack the player. Iron Golems do not attack Creepers, likely due to a Creepers destructive nature which may destroy sections of the village. They also do not attack Slimes, Magma Cubes, or Ghasts. It is possible for Iron Golems to accidentally attack one another, although this will deal no damage nor provoke them against each other. Upon death, Iron Golems drop three to five Iron Ingot, and sometimes one or two roses. If an Iron Golem generated as part of a NPC Village is killed, it will …
