Minecraft Mob Guide – The Skeleton
Please take a moment to RATE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE! The Skeleton is the undead archer of the night. This video goes into detail about these bow-wielding fiends. This is the forth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the Skeleton, the rattling bones that roams the night. Skeletons, whilst quite fragile and weak alone, will actually turn out to be one of your most common causes of death in the overworld due to their very high damage to an unarmored, unsuspecting opponent. A skeleton is a fairly fast-paced enemy that will shoot arrows at the player and any mobs that attack it. Like zombies, skeletons spawn in dimly lit areas, and will burn in daylight (when the sun is 15 degrees or greater above the ground) unless they are swimming in water or are standing in the shade. For example, underneath a tree, outcropping of a mountain or player-built structure. The skeleton has received an AI update in version 1.2 that allows them be about as “smart” as zombies, since they were both given similar AI updates. Skeletons now seek cover when on fire, and can perform many other “smarter” actions. Minecraft: How to Construct a Castle – Part 4: Moat Mob Trap (Builder’s Book)
Please take a moment to RATE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE! Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we dig out a moat around our Castle’s perimeter. This moat is filled with water and actually doubles up as a functional drowning mob trap! This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft. Minecraft Mob Guide – The Cow

This is the forth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the Cow, the mooing mammal that travels (or blindly wanders) in herds. The cows can be killed and farmed for a good amount of beef, leather and milk, which actually makes them better than pigs in every way possible. Minecraft: How to Construct a Castle – Part 3: Basic Entrance and Walls (Builder’s Book)
Please take a moment to RATE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE! Building has always been something Minecraft has been famed for. The ability to construct the most spectacular of houses and deadliest of traps, but what is it that one should build? The Minecraft Builder’s Book has some very nice things for you to try to construct, learn, and apply in your own creations! In this video, we finish off the walls of the castle using the knowledge we gained in the last video. We then construct a basic entrance. Kinda small, I know, but the next few eps will make up for it! :D This castle design is based of a massive castle I had constructed on the shameless Minecraft rip-off Fortress Craft. I had bought it simply because it seemed like Minecraft on Xbox, and it was rather cheap. The Castle I made there seemed to impress some other people, so I’ve decided to recreate it on Minecraft.

Minecraft: Cow Overderp
Don’t ask… You asked. I was trying to get some cows into a fenced area so I could farm them for steaks and milk buckets. What happened was that I got two in, breeded them, then went to get another and found it wasn’t smart enough to actually come inside and just stood outside staring at me. I turned a little bit and saw a calf staring at me as well. I then turned around and saw the biggest pair of cow overderps I have ever seen in my entire (Minecraft) life. Note: I’ve done that annotation link thing to other videos on this one. I won’t be adding this to new mob guides, but will add it to Builder’s Book as soon as the Castle project is finished, then it will appear everytime a project finishes. Minecraft essentials will also have it. I plan on maybe doing another Mob Guide season in case I become popular. I could make some original themes, make it look more professional and appealing, and maybe even monetize it. But looking at where I am now, I have a LONG way to go.

Minecraft Mob Guide – The Ocelot
The latest Minecraft update, version 1.2(yet to be released) will bring us the Ocelot, a new passive mob. This video will go into detail about these felines. This is the fifth episode in a series of Minecraft Mob Guides, where we look at all the hostile AND passive mobs in Minecraft in detail. In this episode, we take a look at the Ocelot. These nice creatures can be tamed and become house cats. These guys are nice to have around. In their natural habitat, these felines will welcome you to the jungle. Ocelots are passive mobs that normally spawns in Jungle Biomes. They are the second tameable mob to be introduced into Minecraft, the first being Wolves. The Ocelot is a mainly passive, ‘shy’ mob which will not attack the player. Should the player move or look too abruptly near one, it will sprint away. Ocelots are the first mob with the ability to sprint, as well. If enclosed and unable to escape, they will stand still until an exit is made, after which they will quickly sprint through it. Wild Ocelots will occasionally slowly sneak up on chickens, then proceed to pounce and kill. However, their behavior when taming takes priority over this behavior. To tame an Ocelot, the player must be holding Raw Fish while standing perfectly still and not looking around too quickly. It will slowly approach the player, and while in this state, using Raw Fish on it will tame it, changing it to one of the three tame ‘cat’ types. This will also end its shy behavior.
