You should play it again and pay attention to what people say as it’s an RPG and story’s the key (the game’s Chrono Trigger, you can pick it up on the Virtual Console (Wii) or DS)

The thumper has no penetration so is not very effective vs robots and other armoured targets.

This game is feeling more and more like FTL. I suppose this is a substitute for it because mainstream is just not good enough for Etho.
I like the intensity if this game, though. It always seems like you are almost dead and then something comes and changes it up. Well I would enjoy it if you play more of these. Happy hunting… or something like that.

You don’t…
You can just break doors with a melee weapon.
I mean, if you have the space… but otherwise they are useless.

Etho, if you like roguelike games like these (more visuals, simpler controls, etc.), I might recommend looking into Shiren the Wanderer, if you haven’t seen it already. I started with the SNES version, but you might have better results with the DS one.
