Hi Etho if I remember correctly you put down halfslabs as the floor for your nether village. I tested it myself with full blocks and slabs and stairs as the roof, they did register it as a house. Might be the slabs.

The zombie pigmen detect when it was you that lit the tnt, and will attack you if it was you.. You can use redstone to activate TNT so this doesn’t happen. And NO, it’s not a bug.. It’s a feature :P

lol i just made my first silk touch sheers too. went to a stronghold/mine and collected 4 stacks of cobwebs and then made a chicken farm. It takes 57 cobwebs to grow a baby chick. Tried to make a passive system where chickens would drown, to get raw chicken, but was not able. made a trap with a cactus that can collect like 90% of the loot.

Dear Etho,
I’ve been moving on top of the Nether for a long while now. I love the space it provides and even plan to move up there again soon in my LP. Don’t worry about negative effects. I’ve been going up there since around about 1.2 and have never had any problems with world generation, glitches, or bugs.
A huge tip I have to give you is that to my knowledge Pigmen do not spawn on pressure plates because they’re a pack mob. I’d like to be proved wrong though!

Etho. If you are building the nether village in new 1.5 chunks there maybe some nether quartz hidden in the ceiling. Hope this helps
