Shovels don’t break twice as fast, picks don’t use 2 uses on dirt nor does a shovel use 2 uses on wood. A Shovel Would be more efficient seeing as mentioned, it does use 1/3 less diamonds and has multiple uses in his inventory.

They dont break twice as fast… They´re breaking twice as fast only if you attack mobs with it…
