@Mastamysta just in case zyrandar’s comment isnt enough. when first entering a cave, remind your self, always place torches on the right wall, (unless its a wide tunnel, then plant a few on the floor as well.) that way, when exiting you dont get lost because you just go where the torches are on the left :). i myself also dont do step 2 3 and 4 separately. if you have a silk touch pick or two, grab ores like coal, redstone and lapis with that, to reduces items in your inventory :D

Oh, all those slabs! It really hurt me when I finished up a slab project, loaded up 1.2, and found the recipe had been doubled!
I’m using a notebook PC, and when it comes time to engage in clickfests, I tap the touchpad instead; there are no mechanical parts that way. Logitech sells separate ones.

@EthosLab if you can think of someway to move the snow, you could make a neat afk snowball farm by hooking up the blocks the snow layer is on to a few sticky pistons, and connecting those to a decent speed clock.
or if there is no way to move the snow, just stand next to the blocks.

in 1.2 you get six half slabs for every 3 sandstone blocks :D

add a piece of sandston halfslap on top of the fence above the glowstone
and you could make some sky-ish type of thing above your tree-farm

if you push a snow golem into a glass pane and you try to harvest the snow it wears out a stone shovel within 15-20 seconds!thumbs up so he can see

can you please do a tour of your old worlds and redstone stuff because im new and i think your automatic redstone epic stuff look amazing! :D
