When the Americans attacked Canada in the War of 1812. Pretty much what would become the U.S. got pissed at the British who were conscripting American sailors, and so they declared war on the Canadas [Upper and Lower], being British colonies. Britain then finished off the Napoleonic wars, and sent troops and ships to North America. Upon arrival, they invaded Washington and burned down the whitehouse. It was painted white to cover the burns. That’s why it is called the Whitehouse.

@amoronishere It was, and it had to be rebuilt completely. The original was painted white and called the White House before the War of 1812, that story is a made up.

Etho, if you’re having frame-rate issues, then get the optifine mod.
(I get about 100 fps but with the optifine mod i get 350) Also takes care of lag spikes like when you throw an enderpearl. Hope this helps!
