mobs a pushing each other; the server (like in single player) keeps them in place because they are bound by the glass but your client is receiving the info of them pushing and tries to push them (eventually out the glass) “client side” (only for you) that is why you are being pushed around because as far as your client is concerned you are being pushed. the resin why you cant hurt them/they cant hurt you (from direct contact) is because they aren’t actually there, mob damage is “server side” :)

make the tube with solid blocks it will help but not fix it :)
