You may want to allocate more ram to minecraft (if you have more to spare) .. An easy way to do it is using the Magic Launcher. Linked on Optifines sub-forum

Hes in 13w05a and Optifine isn’t updated for snapshots. Current Optifine version is for 1.4.7
