I’m pretty sure the reason those animals got stuck in the breeding bay was because the baby pushed them on to the half slabs. Since the blocks above them was glass and more half slabs, they didn’t take suffocation damage

@phil211293 Open the minecraft.jar with winrar And in there scroll down untill you find terrain.png and that is where you can edit the glass texture :)
