I would have mined the obsidian and using water to make more obsidian before that block drops into the lava below so I can use it for any future projects that may need it, but your idea is easier and takes less time

You can fill 1 or 2 blocks in lava lakes using gravel

The fast boat conveyor does not work in 12w07b, so that may be a grim sign :/.

awesome job on the storage room! I think lava can set combustibles on fire if theyre within 3 blocks and have an air block next to them (this would be the surface(s) that ignite). I realy like how you present your builds by showing/explaining the mistakes and pitfalls because that helps us when we try something similar. Keep up the excellent work

Great episode! To answer your lava and fire question for any future problems, lava can catch up to 4 blocks away. For the workshop area I think you could have a brewing stand in the middle. :)

Careful you don’t over-extend yourself with projects! You don’t want to pull an Etho and have a ton of unfinished projects around :) I am still a huge fan of the LP and I think it is your best series!
