An idea to fix the mobs taking fall damage when leaving the stream would be to replace the sign on the top of the mob softener with a ladder so they glide in, unless they’d climb it. I guess you could try vines if they would fit.

You could also have put a half slab on top of the hopper where the mobs fall, as items are sucked through the half slab. Like so he can see!

You could place a half slab n the hopper so it could stop the mobs from hurting themselves by fall damage…

add a trapdoor above the hopper so mobs dont glitch in the hopper and it will also do work of the sign! :)
