blood donation machine can give you an HP up in the form of the blood bag when it blows up so if you have a lot of hearts laying around it’s good to play it.

I just thought to say, the main reason you’re not seeing any difference, is because you weren’t hitting him.
It’s just a theory, but as viewer, I was watching very carefully :D

Two things;
1) I think you care way too much about finding secret rooms early on. They pretty much only give coins and waste your bombs. Blowing up blue rocks will generally give you bombs back too.
2) PLAY THE BLOOD BANKS! If you have extra hearts on the ground it’s pretty much a guaranteed Health Up.
Good videos though regardless and I like the description :-)
