[Beta 1.6 Maps Maps Maps]

Today was the release of Minecraft Beta 1.6 and tha addition of maps. As of right now, the maps only show you where you are going through your own world without any real ability to add locations to the map. This seems to be just the start of what Notch will be adding. Including the possibility of books that can be written by players and also their own artwork added. It will be exciting to see how Maps are used within Multiplayer servers and with functionalities being added in single player. ;

Today with the release of Minecraft Beta 1.6 came the addition of trapdoors, also known in game as hatches. These are extremely useful and can be powered by redstone. I decided to attach multiple trapdoors and have them side by side with one another in order to create a type of draw bridge. The possibilites with trapdoors are endless.
