I believe the fact that Blazes spawn even if You put down torches is because they can spawn in the air above the torches, where it is “dark” enough.
You should be able to stop them from spawning if You build some pillars around it with glowstone. This should light up all blocks (also the air blocks) around (and above) the spawner, so that they can’t spawn anymore.

If you go back to where u got light blue wool there is a chest on the left of the wool room and it has iron swords if i remember correctly

Dear Xisuma,
Don’t know if you figured this out by episode 8, which I haven’t yet watched, but you can take a whole melon, place it on the ground, break it, and make the slices into seeds. You can’t craft a whole melon into seeds, though, like you were trying to do. In this way, I made a melon farm in this map that gives me more food than you could ever want. You should try it out in your next video! :)

Also I think you should hurry to wear iron armor set if there is ton of iron underwater like you found, it will be a great help :)

Also, I’m not sure if you’ve found the diamond sword yet or not, but there’s a diamond sword in a place you’ve passed by. Also, there is a diamond axe with Looting, Fortune, Efficiency, and more awesome enchantments at the glowstone spire with the block of sand at the top. Stand at the Intersection 2 entrance and look for the back left glowstone spire. That should be the one.
