Hey Etho, just wanted to tell you that I saw on Zisteau’s channel that the
platinum and silver look almost exactly alike and you could’ve passed a
whole bunch of platinum. :P

if you dont need them) you missed a lot of platinum

i think if you right-click on the background when caving it gets rid of it
and it lets in light, it’s a really easy way to light up caves :) you
should try it out

ATTENTION COMMENTERS
BEFORE COMMENTING, PLEASE READ THIS:
For those saying “You missed a diamond” – Yes. He missed several. But he’s
focusing on recording an entertaining video, not mining every piece of ore
he can. I’m sure he’ll go back off camera and get them all.
For those saying “Where’s Terraria!?” – Zisteau is sick right now and so
they can’t record any episodes. It’s not gone, just put on hold while Z
gets better.
For those saying “Some of that ‘Silver’ is Platinum!” – You’re right. As of
right now, the game has very similar looks for the two, and while
recording, it’s probably not the easiest thing to notice. I’m sure that at
some point, he’ll be digging out some “silver” and realize it’s actually
platinum. Or maybe he’ll just figure it out when he sees that the next pick
he needs (before diamond) is platinum and put two and two together.
If your post was about one of these three things, please don’t post it.
He’s been spammed enough about this all.

December 17th, 2013 at 8:32 AM
You missed a diamond at 17:38 on the right of your screen.
December 17th, 2013 at 8:37 AM
Also Etho to confirm things for you:
-Yes, you can make coal by smelting unrefined wood.
-If you hold Control and move your camera around you can zoom and look
around the section of the map you’re at, but there are certain items that
can boost your zoom range and such.
-There is a Diamond Pickaxe listed in the Crafting Table.

Etho just want to say the lanterns you encountered in the under ground are
used for making a lantern pack that basically is like terraria’s mining
helmet but is equipped in the backpack slot there is a vanity and
functional slot for all armour and back packs and the like I believe
