    @KrazyMustard
They tend to glitch into each other rather than stacking properly.

  2. PearSquirrel Says:

I made a similar design a couple of months ago, only instead of using it as a cart dispenser, I used it to make a minecart train. :P

    amazing

Nice im gonna try this in my world ;)

  5. Darjeed Says:

@ImBoredAsADeadMonkey Have you tried leaving them in there for awhile? Eventually everyone on the server is going to see minecarts glitching around and vibrating like they are sitting on a broken prop motor, as well as causing tons of lag due to entity tracking issues.

    ( in my experience )

    Hey, #OnlyBlackMod here. I want a rematch.

  7. Minecraftaddict Says:

@ImBoredAsADeadMonkey It depends on the server maybe, but they are rarely reliable in smp. But in single player, pez all the way.

@CoDCopsProductions Happens to me too. I’ll try and check which way my minecart system was facing.

I think this is the best dispenser method. It is SMP friendly, aesthetically pleasing and self correcting. The PEZ dispenser is sometimes glitchy on servers (I’ve come to realize it depends on the server, that is, the hardware running it) and not very aesthetically pleasing.

@MinecraftAddict I copied this design on my test server. For some bizarre reason it works EXCEPT that the carts will sit in the right place on the fence gates and then randomly (not all at the same time) the cart behaves as if the gate was opened. Tends to occur within 10 seconds of another minecart “bumping” the block from underneath when it tries to get into the dispenser. Hope that makes sense! :P

    Genius!

I see a lot of promise with this in regards to potential alternatives to the current designs for animal farms in SMP. I’d love to see if this particular design runs into “Mob tracking and collision” issues. If it can run reliably with mobs in it in SMP I speculate this can make a far denser storage unit than most of the current ones.

Has anyone tested this design with that in mind?

Woah, how big is your screen? D:

If you build a station, where would the input and output be?

HEY GUYS IF YOU THINK PEZ WORKS ON MULTIPLAYER, IT GLITCH EASILY
Go /watch?v=Fz4GYNxBSh8 if you like Pez dispenser.
    This is good for SMP!

@CoDCopsProductions I have the same exact problem. I’ve made 4 of these on my server now but only one of them has the problem you describe. Coincidentally, it’s the one that is oriented north-south (longways) whereas the other three are east-west. Don’t know if that provides a clue as to why the carts are glitching thru the fences; but FYI I also tried swapping out the fences for trapdoors and still had the problem.

  20. KrazyMustard Says:

I have yet to try it for myself but what is the main issue with the Pez dispenser style in SMP? Do the carts end up glitching into walls and whatnot?
