    Is there a way to blur the edge of the mask that you have just re-coloured to the rest of the image so the mask isn’t really obvious?

    Absolutely! I mentioned right at the end of the tutorial that you can feather the selection. That is the key. After you’ve created your selection, choose Select–>Feather… and set it to an appropriate size for the image. Continue on as stated in the tutorial and you’ll have a nice edge that blends with the background.

    @ScooterayROX Did you note the version of Photoshop that is being used? This is CS2. I can assure you that this is Photoshop.

    @ScooterayROX I’m pretty sure the “Photoshop” in the top left corner of the title bar would indicate that it is.

    but photoshop dosnt look like that,its black around the edges and has different option s to that, like burn and crystelize
