Well one thing to try is put the schools in other parts of the city. The busses might take alternate routes to the first stop.

I still think you should attempt a college for your citizens, you have a industrial town and your not very high tech. Play to that need of your city and you will be doing much better

Placing the schools inside the residential zones would allow people to directly walk to it, and the buses would take shorter trips. One per residential section. and not just on the side, right smack in the middle. It may cause a bit of traffic, but I’d rather deal with that than have to deal with a crime wave.

Mix in the education with the residential so that the students can walk to school and ignore the follow the leader buses.

Isn’t it so that the “kids” get “upgraded” each higher educational building you place? Think those buildings with 100 students are just posh university kids (as they don’t even try to get to a school busstop). Either reopen an university or demolish the buildings? :D

I don’t think the education problem is down to the schools or even the busses I think it’s related more so to the students or the location of the schools. Maybe try building schools closer to the residential areas or look into if the students are having any problems like trying something different or the police need to enforce school enrolment or something along those lines.

The AI for buses is stupid, it just goes to a stop with people waiting, and thats where the convoy starts, cause the AI is all the same…
