…And so Punchwood watched as the outlandish pirate was blown into a
bloody mess by Chili’s grenade. Blood and remains of organs splattered all
over the defensive boulder wall. One moment he was alive and brandising a
badly made shiv; then he was dead, pasted all over the sandbags and walls.
Another pirate was struck down by Spiffy’s turret, and collapsed into a
scarlet heap of clothes and flesh. Punchwood sobbed and screamed and shot;
he didn’t care. He didn’t want to die.
Well that was some pretty dark and horrible stuff. 0_0 Dark and horrible,
but perfect for a story.

You can upgrade to alpha 9 without any problems.

I think if you start Alpha 9 you should try getting Punchwood, Spiffy, and
Chili again as the three starters if possible so we can make a story out of
it; like saying that they escaped the first planet and crashed on another?
Idk I need ideas!

You really don’t want to recruit abrasive people, unless you want all of
your colonists to go insane. Abrasive people give a negative mood debuff
every time they talk to another colonist, going up to about a -30 debuff.
Considering the mental break threshold is around 10%ish, a regular colonist
will get down to 20% after a few social talks.

I would love to see you tackle the new alpha 9 features, and there’s still
so much your unlucky colonists haven’t suffered yet ;D so have them suffer
in alpha 9 so that you can immortalize their labours in sculpture! :D

Why not restart. The game seems like it is at a stand still so I guess a
new world possibly bigger with new things ya go for it.
