Mojang and Oxeye Games’ Newest – Cobalt – The Tutorials!
Leave a nice ‘Like’ FOR MOJANGS NEWEST GAME! Mojang has released its newest game called Cobalt! Buy the game here: www.playcobalt.com The game is still under heavy development and will be so for a long time. Just like Minecraft, Cobalt will be discounted during development and increase in price as it reaches Beta and finally the 1.o release. The Oxeye team posted an overview of the different milestones leading up to release along with some additional info, that you can read here. The full game will sell for €20 (≈ $26) and it will be discounted 50% to €10 (≈ $13) during Alpha. The Beta will have a 25% discount tag. The only part mojang had in this was publishing it; oxeye made it indie.

Cobalt features in our “Christmas List” section of the Kill/Screen this month. We’re definitely feeling a lot of love for the 2d side scrollers at the moment. Swing by the channel and check it out.

Yeah, it’s not made by Mojang, somehow many get this wrong =)
Mojang is simply helping with publicity/marketing/distributing the game, since they have experience in that aspect.
The developing has all been done by Oxeye Game Studios, where Jens (Jeb) is the Co-founder. That’s where the connections came from and now Jens and the Oxeye guys are able to publish their Game through Mojang.
