You might need to adjust your monitor’s colors monkeyfarm. For me the
default dirt looks a slightly dark brown and yours looks desaturated to a
really grey brown, almost flat out light grey. As for the glass yeah I
never liked that “streak” in the default pack. Very frustrating that they
added that reflection when viewing panes at an angle.

I’m with monkey that a few of the textures really bother me. For me it is
the GLASS and the glowstone. Those two things really cause me to not want
to use either. To me, glass is glass and you should be able to see
through it. The glow stone I wish had a better physical appearance
otherwise I need to bury it underground. I’ve used his pack since it first
came out. I’ve tried a few and faithful still doesn’t do it for me either.

I don’t care what happens with the texture pack, i watch you because i love
the commentary! Plus you taught me how to build a lot of redstone
contraptions and spawners. I would also like to say that i’m glad to
support you in your youtube career!

Hi it is called Erebor + i rly want a sub A BIG sub half in water that you
can walk in, can you alsow build a engene room and a stering room it is
going to be awesome if you do it in the arch but make the arch bigger can
you make a crew sleeping deck with bunkbeds thx if you read this

Custom John Smith is part of what brought me here, lol.
If you use anything else I think it has to be default John Smith, just so
you don’t make the change so abrupt.

Please keep your texture pack, i really like it, besides it is one of the
things that makes your channel unique besides the great videos and i think
you should be inspired by the lonely mountain from the hobbit, but also
make it a bit different as well. Also you should make the great halls and a
forge kind of thing like in the film with lava.

Big questions Monkeyfarm. With the castle- I watch this channel because
your an awesome builder and if your feeling inspiration then go with it
bro. Where would the world be without inspiration. As for the resource pack
I’ve been a bit frustrated with your pack lately purely because it doesn’t
seem to have caught up with 1.8 n the blocks we have now, not because you
need to go backwards and look default otherwise I’d just use a Faithful
pack which is what it seems your describing. Anyway love ya work mate, keep
it up.

I have always been drawn to your videos in part because of your lovely
resource pack. You really have a keen eye for building design and
aesthetics and I think its something that works in conjunction with the
realistic textures of your custom pack to set you apart from the “function
over looks” minecrafters.
Having said that, I have been addicted to your videos for quite a while now
so I doubt something as small as a resource pack change would deter me from
watching. Your viewers like watching your videos when they can tell you
have fun making them.

Monkeyfarm you have the best texture pack ever, I only play minecraft with
your texture pack. If you do use more defualt, you need to keep the happy
creeper.

I would continue to use the custom john smith if I where you. I love that
texturepack.

If you’d like, I can do some dirt and glass fitting the vanilla style but
in John Smith colours for you. A lot of the vanilla textures have the same
saturation, or are completely grey.
