You should build canals between the lakes, rivers, and ponds. You can move through faster and you won’t have to build another boat. =)

I found some forgotten iron ingots in the mine North East East of Cozy Cottage, near the narrow passage when riding on the river. Drop down the hole and keep going until you see the wall with a dirt patch in the middle. Then make a sharp right (the only direction you really can go) and you will see a furnace with 5 iron ingots and a crafting table. Happy Crafing! Love your vids Paul!!! =)
