    you guy sohuld do somthing call rase to the enderdragon you have a portal
    in the center of the map and you are teloported some amont of blocks away
    and try to finish the ender portal and get what you need to kill the
    enderdragon first one to kill her wins (keep invintory true is a good thing
    to do)

    The nether should be fine all you should do is restart the server and you
    should be allowed to go through and end up in the right spot but you got to
    do that everytime

    The reason you died when you spawned in the nether is because, a few blocks
    in the nether, can equal thousands in the overworld, so yeah it’s probably
    broken.

    if you go throw the nether then restart the sever it should fix it i
