The “pond” has patches of 2-5 block deep water those patches you can fish
in yes Extra x ..
For the “ranch” what you should do is make the fence 3 high with a glass
roof and a door to it from the house instead of a gate as then you can get
in it “safer” + its “sealed” against mobs being able to wander in / jump in
