Though I don’t know what exactly causes the explosions all I know is because the cavern is “unstable” and it is called the “Grumbling Cavern” for a reason

You are spoiling the fun for us and for Paul. He is not stupid and he would probably survive the fall. If he would fall for that trap at all. If everything dangerous is spoiled where is the fun?
I can live with the fact that people can’t refrain from spoiling the current area because he probably has played through that already. But please, please don’t spoil areas ahead.

The explosions you hear are creeper spawners, when you get close the spawner activates and the creepers stand on pressure plates that set off tnt…. Be careful.
