Etho, for future reference (I know this is pre-recorded), maybe if there is
and SOF S3 in the future. The RPD is a Light Machine Gun (LMG). Your M-4
Carbine, FN Scar, and AK47 are all assault rifles. The AK74 (sometimes has
a u on the end) is a Sub Machine Gun (SMG). The shotguns are guns like the
Remington 870 and I think that is the only one I have seen in SOF. I think
that shotguns/shotgun ammo are useless in this modpack since shotguns are
only any good in close quarters combat, and the engagements in SOF are
typically long rang. That is why Sniper Rifles are OP in this modpack
because they are long range weapons. The Assault Rifles and LMGs are second
best in this game because they are for medium to long range combat. SMGs
are ok if you are at a place like the airfield where u will run into people
within a short distance (which is what SMGs are for).

Why are allmost all youtubers blind, even when they focus? Etho spotted
that guy on the bridge (He spotted someone, amazing), and didnt notice him
walking up the god damn road at 9:38.

Lol did the modmakers get the sounds from War Thunder
The ship engine is from the FW190
And the .50cal sound is from the Browning M2, which I don’t think is a
correct sound all along

Hey etho. Here’s a quick guide to what you need to know, copy-paste it,
print it out, and have it with you or something. Just please use it.
Assault rifle/LMG
Scar-H – 308 cartridge, high damage high recoil moderate accuracy
M4 carbine – 5.56 cartridge, moderate recoil, moderate damage, high
accuracy
AK47 – 7.62 cartridge, high damage (Slightly less than .308) moderate
accuracy, high recoil
AK-74 – 5.45 cartridge, medium-high damage, moderate recoil, moderate
accuracy
RPD – 7.62 cartridge, see above AK-47 stats
RPK- 5.45 cartridge, see above AK-74 stats
Sniper rifle
Arctic warfare (L96) – 7.62 cartridge, insanely accurate, high recoil, high
damage
M40 – 7.62 cartridge, very accurate, high recoil, high damage.
R700 – 7.62 cartridge, very accurate, high recoil, high damage.
This will have you covered for now. A quick wikipedia search will tell you
the cartridge, and from there you can look at the stats on this list.
Depending on the type of gun, it should have you covered for everything
but SMGs.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say this. I love this series! Like, really
love it! Last season was so entertaining, this season has been great so far
– it deserves way more views than it is getting, way more! Keep it up Etho,

Etho’s inventory management and gun knowledge is killing me here! If I was
a pc gamer I would love to play this, I would be so good at this kind of
thing. I would learn to know the best guns and make sure to carry two of
the same kind to save reloading mid fight, I might even try just set up in
the middle of the map with a sniper and loads of health packs and
water/food. I think the games less about a good start and more about
getting the best gear while avoiding everyone until you want to find them.

Etho, if there is another SoF, you should put the items you don’t take in
the middle and/or corners to make sure you have checked the chest. It also
will let you know if someone else has been there.
