It’s only a “local server” when you have cheats enabled.

Arrows shot while in creative mode or when using a bow with infinite enchant can’t be picked up yes… – when using a regular bow in survival you need arrows in your inventory and arrows that don’t hit a mob can be picked up again.

Why? They have increased the performance of the game, and now the snapshots run better than 1.2.5 for me.
