Why dont you make pressurplats on the left and right side of it so you dont
get slowed down every time ? it is a better designe :)

Just simply put the pressure plate 1 block away, under it put 1 piece of
redstone. then in front of the redstone put a repeater facing into the
block under the piston. Put the repeater delay on whatever works for the
server and your done!
Also if you fall on half a block or less onto a slime block you will take
damage! so your setup might not work!

would be sweet to add a horizontal slime block so you can bounce up and
into the mouth and make a skeleton hand there so it would look like the
skull was popping something into its mouth.

Monkeyfarm if you put make the launcher at the start u swap the redstone
dust for a repeater and put it on a 2-3 tick delay. I’m no expert but that
might work.
