You can also just turn up your gamma in the options file :D

An other way is to change the file underwater.png by a fully-transparent
square (and eventually add a night vision effect).

I’m assuming this could also work in lava as well? (With a fire resist
potion of course)

This same trick can be found when going under a lily pad and holding space,
drink a night vision potion to make it better. This requires going to a
swamp, X’s trick uses stuff from —-> THE NETHER <– (Quartz) I just wanted to share an easier trick I discovered myself, maybe not the first, but it’s easier than X’s.

Should this work with lava? When you have fire resistance on? That would be
usefull to find diamonds in lavalakes

You could just have put an annotation on the original video, being much
easier for people who find that one to know about night vision potions, if
they already didn’t.
Oh well, I guess you can get some more money with this video :D
