there is a way to make the nanofarm automatically use bone meal once you
put down the crop, without using a pressure plate or anything like that.

In my survival world I found a skeleton dungeon, which gives off tons of
bones. Im finaly gonna put it all to good use! Thanks Xisuma and “Ease”

Xisuma if you replace the block with the preshure plate with jungle wood
you can also use it for cocoa beans thats what i would suggest to use
becouse it realy works

Can you not use it for cocoa beans too ? just replace the block that the
pressure plate is on with jungle wood and lean against the fence and right
click on the side of the block

Why do you have 2 water sources, a water source can keep a soil tilled on
the same level but also one below… Which means you just have to use the
upper source… Nothing really I just thought I would mention it

I’ve always been a bit bothered by the fact that the dispensers keep
shooting out bonemeal when a crop isn’t even planted, hence wasting a bunch
of precious bonemeal. Is there some way to fix this?

This is a big waste of bonemeal…
Sure, the bonemeal won’t be used if there isn’t a crop in front of the
dispenser, but if there is a crop in front of it, even if it’s already
fully grown, then the bonemeal will be used on the crop.
Slow down the timer for the dispensers, maybe, and I’ll consider building
another one that isn’t worth taking down.

It appears the top-back dispenser has no source of power
