The “vomit comet” plane is actually called the BAC Concorde, it is the
third fastest jet in the world and is the highest flying commercial
aircraft on the planet. It flew so fast that the interior walls of the
plane were extremely hot due to air friction. Many of them crashed due to
extreme speeds or engine failure, that’s why they aren’t around today. Me
and my dad went on one once and we went from the east coast of the US to
India in about an hour.

On the moon there is and atmosphere dew to the fact that there is gravity
but it’s very weak. Plus those rovers are supposed to be SPR (small
pressurised rover). Also the landing spacecraft with a chute is the LEM
(lunar excursion module) it was only used during NASA’s apollo program. It
had no chutes and was not purple. By the year 2020 the spacecraft
constellation will carry the orion manned craft to the moon and develop a
base. A few years later another constellation spacecraft once again with
orion will travel to Mars and never return.

I think it was a Mars base because the lander had a parachute. On the moon
there is no atmosphere so a parachute wont help to slow down. On Mars
however therer is an atmosphere so…

Wait, can somebody explain to me why a parachute would work on the moon? I
mean, there is no air on the moon, there is only vacuum. That’s why
astronauts wear spacesuits, otherwise they would implode because of the
pressure (and probabaly choke because of no oxigen). But if there is no
air, there is no air resistance, so a parachute would have no function. Or
would it?
