Well, I think emeralds should be as commen as lapiz lazuli(maybe a little bit more/less)

Jeb said Emeralds are only meant as currency and finding the ore was only meant as a “lucky find”. He removed its ability to naturally generate for future versions of Minecraft.

Jeb said that emeralds are supposed to be a nice find and that your not supposed to find them threw mining but by mostly trading with villagers.

how you could see emeralds:iron is like 6.5 hardness ,daimond is 10 (from wikipedia)and emerald 8.so if there would be emerald tools,it should more enchantable as gold and the same damage/effeciency so iron should be maked weaker or daimond better if there would be emrald tools

Emeralds is a pointless addition, and from prior vids, villagers would give you 3 bread for 1 emerald…. that’s expensive bread.
