I think instead of full white clay and quartz half slabs, I think that if
you used quarts stairs to border the flower beds it might give some shape
to the house without sacrificing the modern look.

The mix of podzol and dark wood make me think this would look great in a
Mega Taiga Biome, now I just have to find one.
