Big Fan, Paul, but I don’t think the past tense style worked very well. It was strange because of not knowing what was happening even though it was ‘remembered’. I think best to keep that for the “present day” parts.

Hmm… I’m not sure about the past tense narrating. It sounds a bit weird, and the fact that you don’t actually know what is going to happen exactly would make narrating in past tense a bit hard. However, there were some parts of this episode that sounded very good in past tense. So, I don’t know whether you should do past tense or stick to your normal narrating which we all know and love.

Well if it is a memory, then it stands to reason that it would all be in present tense; including King Punchwood’s many bathroom breaks.
