So what this does is basically make it so people have to break a block to get into your chests, and puts you at risk for the potential fix for this.

It’s unbelievably easy.. 2 pistons and like 10 pieces of redstone.

Also the asterisk denotes a correction, and you aren’t correcting anything, so there is no need for it.

it’ll be easier to have sticky pistons push and pull solid blocks on top of the chest.
