LOL! MINECRAFT IS VIOLENT??? LOL XD LOL! Than games, like Call of Duty,
Battlefield, or GTA is what? LOL :D And… Good news! Microsoft bought
Minecraft. You say, why is this good? Well, Microsoft wants money, and if
people don’t buy Minecraft, Microsoft should do something about it, because
Microsoft wants money! And in Minecraft XP is not XP, it’s just called
XP… It’s an enchanting point really… AND REALLY! WHERE CAN YOU KILL

Really Minecraft? Violent LOL they havent seen GTA or CoD like really now
theres no blood xD even if you do hit them and turn red well you wouldn’t
think it was getting hurt when you punch it! Its like saying stop eating

Why I think the ottomans turks think it’s violent:
1) To get a block, you have to punch it or use a tool. While
punching/mining it, you see bits of it coming out while the block cracks
then, finally, is destroyed. They ignore that fact that the block per se
wasn’t destroyed, but got smaller and easy to carry. Still, I think they’re
into property damage. Remember the turks had violent protests in Istanbul
one or two years ago.
2) In order to survive, you have to kill animals such as pigs, hens, cows
etcetera. Everytime they’re attacked & harmed, they get red & scream in
pain. This probably has to do with animal abuse, the need to kill,
yadda-yadda. I’m not sure if it has to do with islamic teachings since, out
of all teh muslim world, Turkey is considered the most secular and
down-to-earth type where prohibition doesn’t exist. At least, that’s what I
know a.t.m.
3) With the harming women part, I think it has to do with witches and
ghasts. With witches, it is self-explanatory, with ghasts I think it’s a
subtle hint towards mothers-in-law.
4) Somewhat similar to #1, this has to do with destroying things. This
time, it has to do with the natural enviroment. This may also be a rhetoric
PR action towards the population in regard with the protests in Istanbul
one-two years ago: they were protesting the construction of a parking space
or mall, destroying the last green space in that city, thus the destructive
nature might be a rhetoric against what the government may see as a
hypocrite irony.
5) I’m not really sure how much religion teachings or faith in general is
in secular Turkey, but the Nether shows what the Quran presents as Hell. In
their mind, the kids will have nightmares will all that scream, demonic
entities and red-fire-lava enviroment. This… I don’t know what to say
about this. It may have to do with the Enderman and the Wither.

There was a study that said kids should play Minecraft instead of watching
TV. With the killing mobs, it is for food or self defense, or because you
could be an evil, murderous, crazy person.
Also, like other comments say, if you want to ban violent games, ban CoD,
Half Life, Left 4 Dead, Halo, GTA, Modern Warfare, and other games of the
sort.
With these “violent” game bans, I’m guessing the Lego games; Star Wars,
Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Batman, and Marvel Super Heroes are going to
be next if Minecraft gets banned.
