You can make them die of fall damage, that won’t require any power! Problem
solved ;D

Keralis, if you want to be able to disable the witch spawning, use a
Tinkers Construct drawbridge, loaded with glowstone (or some other
light-emitting block) and when you activate them, the glowstone will be
placed down, and light the room, disabling the spawners :)

you should make deep storage units for all the witch drops. it the deep
storage units work with the sorting system

You can use glowstone and sugar to make power like generikb

When the mob grinder is bigger and such, you could put some tanks in the
“Grind room” and haves them filled up to 1/2 and 3/4 and then disable them,
so they are just there for the looks!

kingdadydmac used slimes to get essence as the big ones die they give
essence then the little ones die and give more basicly giving you profit of
essence all it needs is alot of power
