    It is a glitch. Soulsand is 7/8 of a block high, but that shouldn’t stop you from entering a doorway now, should it? Half-slabs don’t block you either.

    The soul sand is not shorter, its hitbox is shorter, we are slow in soulsand because of the hitbox.
