I used to own a netgear hub with 8 ports. And back at the turn of the century I would also host LAN parties at mine. We would also play Unreal and Quake 3, and various Half-Life mods. I didn’t have kids though cos I was only 18/19 and was still in college. But I did have a 7 year old brother I had to babysit from time to time. My story doesn’t get any cooler than that tho :)

I was so pissed when you got 3 diamonds from the chest. I just get bread coal and iron. (and melon seeds!

Paul, you should travel through the nether, then you will travel 8x faster and you could just build a nother portal to get out again!

@subterratorterra you do realise you can just make a frame, pour lava and water into it and create a portal like that right…you don’t need diamonds to go to the nether…the only thing you really need the pickaxe for is to make an enchanting table.

@subterratorterra Depends what mods you are using. With Mo Creatures mod Ogres drop obsidian blocks. You could collect enough for a portal without having any diamond.
