Use some fence posts with the glowstone on the trees to make some hanging
lanterns. When ever I need to light up a tree, that’s my go-to. Try it,
it’s stellar!

Also I think it might be the beacons that are causing the lag, because when
you look toward the portal, you get a way better fps than looking towards
where the supporter monument/beacons are.

I have been hearing a lot of people talking about hesitation and lag around
portals in 1.8. I don’t know what has changed since previous versions with
them but I have noticed more hesitation around portals. Perhaps when
Optifine is released for 1.8 it will help with that problem.

+1 Internet points to you! I wish I could make stuff like this, but I kinda
like my cave converted to home thing too, which I need to keep working on
since i want a red carpet up the center of the areas with nether brick on
the sides, but that will take a while since I am not in creative mode in my
world.

What a cool underwater building! But I’m not sure about the nature themed
portal room. It’s a portal to Hell. maybe it should be more black magic
themed? Or just simple naked ruins…
