Guys, optifine capes aren’t going anywhere, dinnerbone already tweeted out
they have almost no control over them, might just take a while for optifine
to update.

Optifine capes weren’t in the game to start with. They were part of the
mod.

Why would they get rid of optifine capes? I’m getting very sick with
Mojang. 1.8 sucks, and in my opinion worst update of all minecraft.

Only one thing +xisumavoid and everyone else. You don’t need to type stuff
like:
/give @p minecraft:stone or minecraft:planks. You simply remove the
minecraft: and you can do that more easily.
The reason they made that is because later when they implement the Mod API
so you can for example do commands like:
/setblock ~ ~2 ~ industrialcraft:reinforced_glass or something like that. I
would say this is pretty cool but as I said before you don’t need to use
the minecraft: thingy.

Is anyone else having the problem of normal glass panes are not transparent
but just plain, non-see through white?
