This is a stupid feature.Why can’t singleplayer worlds just be normal servers with like a max of 30 people,and anyone with your ip address can join?

Easy way to use hamachi! I’ve been running my single player worlds on servers for ages! Will bukkit mods be usable?

LAN means the same network, so if you have a wired/wi-fi connection through a router with your friends PC you will be able to play by LAN

When it said Singleplayer will be a local server in the patch notes, I had hoped it would mean I could invite friends NOT on the local network to join me in them. Basically, converting them to servers, which I can already do, but SO much simpler.

Will 1.3 include all the features everything in the snapshots from the time 1.2.5 came out to when 1.3 comes out?

ikr this feature kinda sucks, its just messing up singleplayer for something that only caveman without internet will use to play with his fellow caveman buddies, i mean LAN really? this isnt the 90s
