the only reason they added sideways logs is because of the dropper map. they should definately get rid of how they work because normally when i build, I DONT JUMP UP AND DOWN LIKE A RETARD.

I don’t mind the reduced smelting exp, it was a bit over powered anyway. With logs-> charcoal then cobble-> smooth you could quickly get a whole lot of it. I love the directional logs too. I can finally use logs as rafters.
Question are the logs of the “branches” in the big funky oak trees sideways?
Oh and thank you for making furnace a verb. Henceforth, I shall use it as such .

Lol, why the fuck would they make such a drastic update because of that one map? Use your brain… they made this addition for in general a cool way to make new structures, I have downloaded the Pre-Release and checked it out, it can be annoying at times but trust me it is quite useful.
