Sure, it could have. It worked for Potty Mouths :) AnderZEL put out Pyro when he got set on fire by a Blaze. I forget which episode exactly, 2 or 3, but it’s in this UHC series of videos.
But as others have said, for 1.5 results may vary. ;)
