Hey Paul, if you put the door down sideways (technically opening it will close the door) then monsters won’t try to break it since they think it is opened. They will just sit there looking at you. :P

Gold is softer than teeth.
In the middle ages merchants checked whether gold coins were real by biting them (it leaves a bite mark in real gold).
Food covered in sheet gold is perfectly edible. (Of course the Minecraft 8-ingots-to-one-apple variant would be a bit inconvenient.)
