The only thing you did wrong in this episode – you didn’t use quicksave :D
Told ya – this is one of the hardest parts in the game, if not the hardest.
If you think that using quicksave is cheating in some way – it’s not. At least not for the oldschool shooters like this one.

Dang it Red3yz use the crossbow at long range it is 100% accurate if you account for the drop unlike other weapons which have random spread.

I remember just trying to rush through this. Didn’t attempt to shoot down the gunships. It worked.. after a while. :P

I don’t think it even has a drop. You can just aim for the chest and it will hit, unless the enemy moves away.
