I think the farm is a really good and fun idea! It’s something different
and interesting.
If those cows poop a lot you might have to put speed upgrades (the red ones
with the yellow arrow) in the liquid nodes, so it doesn’t back up.
When those pipes only need to go in one direction you can tell them by
rightclicking on them with some tool (don’t remember the name). But you can
probably find it in the mod with NEI and when it works you see a graphic
representation on the pipes. That also speeds things up.
90% sure that the mod you are using the pipes from has sorting pipes you
could be using instead of the liquid router.
Mob essence usually happens when mobs die. Did you kill defensless cows? :D
Alternative to safari nets are golden and ender lassos. Ender lassos are
great, since they just teleport mobs to where you have clicked on the
ground. No carrying them around.
To not lose stuff, like the balls, get yourself a rare earth magnet.
There are so many lquids, don’t know if you want to make a silo for each
one. You could make one more silo and then just stack drums for all the
liquids in there. Like a drumtower for poop, mob essence, oil, sludge, XP,
etc. (or get a few bedrockium drums going. KingDaddyMcDrissle can show you
his setup on how to make that. it takes a while…)
