Please do a video about if you critical hit mobs like pigs cows or sheep
you will get more meat and leather than normal attack

+xisumavoid A game idea for Hermit Thrills, going off your Guardian
mechanic; I don’t know if you’ve heard of a child’s game called
Jailers/Wardens Keys? Picture a room with a chair at one end with a
blindfolded player with a torch sat on it, beneath this chair are a big set
of keys. At the opposing end you have the “prisoners” that have to make
their way across the room, using obstacles as cover, avoiding the warden’s
torch beam and the aim is to get the keys without getting spotted.
Now to put the Minecraft twist on this: At one end of the room, you have
your Guardian in a cart with a button beneath him (this button triggers a
trap door, allowing the play to exit the room. The floor contains a piston
floor with rising/falling random blocks (similar to Climb Time but
horizontal instead of vertical) giving the player cover from the guardian’s
beam. The players take a Slowness (or Slowness II) potion at the start of
the course….to spice things up a bit…..it’s too easy if the player is
faster than the Guardian’s lock-on!
For the scoring mechanic you can do 1 of 2 things (or both):
1. Players start with a full set of iron (you can do diamond if you want
but iron is plentiful on the server). They record the damage done to the
armour in a book at the end. The player with the least amount of damage to
the armour wins.
2. A hopper timer much like Climb Time etc.

to stop the pigmen breaking down the doors, you can place the door from the
left, this will stop them destroying them because they cannot destroy
‘open’ doors

Wow Xisuma! I just watched your first ever hermitcraft episode (season 1)
and you have changed so much! in that episode you sounded like you didn’t
have fun doing it… it sounded a little boring but then i came back to
this episode and now it does sound that you have tons of fun! pretty cool!
im pretty new to your channel so thats why i checked the first episode!
keep doing so great man!

Put the guardians on the corners rather than the middle of the sides. That
way you’ll see all 4 from the window :)

Since Pigmen have a very similar code to the one of Zombies, maybe their
spanw is affected by light sources. Maybe. not sure. Gonna have to test
that.

For your guardian mini game you could have a sort of obstacle course, where
guardians try to shoot you and you have to get to checkpoints where the
guardians can’t hit you. You would have to beat some parkour while in the
guardian’s FOV to get to the checkpoint. You would have to complete the
parkour quickly so you don’t get shot! The parkour and obstacles would get
harder and harder as you got farther! You could score it by seeing how many
checkpoints someone reaches before getting shot off, or how long it takes
the person to get through the parkour! I would totally play that game!

Xisuma you can fill the guardian aquariums with water because they target
squids, so if a squid does spawn a guardian will kill it.
You could probably even put some hoppers down to collect drops.

At 13:37 when X said “Run, run away” it sounded auto tune and like it
belonged in a pop song. Ely should jump on it. It also hit the perfect

For the guardian mini game you could have sort of a running maze setup with
guardians around the place and obstacles in the way the player would have
to get to the other side the fastest without getting hit if they get hit
they have to restart at the start.

xisuma, I was wondering, couldn’t you make an item sorter for the wither
skulls by only putting one in the first slot, and then putting items that
you won’t get out of the farm (like cobble) in the others? That way you
don’t waste so many an an item sorter.

Hey X,
(Foreword: Watch the first 2 minutes where you talk about the pigmen
breaking doors)
If you place the door standing sideways (facing the right or left wall of
the door frame) and shut it, the door counts as being open! so, even though
it looks shut to you, the door is assigned the open form in the code,
meaning the pigmen shouldn’t break it down. :)
